There has been a bit of talk around the Internet on the features and specifications of the next Canon EOS 7D Mark II, the latest rumours suggest that it may sport a new 24 Megapixel sensor opposed to the same 20 megapixel sensor which is used in the EOS 70D.
Other rumours suggest that the EOS 5D Mark II will be aimed at the pro video market, however with a rumoured announcement date of 2014 which is a little while off, both rumours are really anyone’s guess.
Previous rumours suggest the following specs:
- 24MP sensor with Dual Pixel CMOS AF
- 61 point Auto-Focus system (similar to EOS 5D Mark III)
- Very good ISO performance
- 10-12 FPS frame rate
- Professional Sealing as found in 5D Mark III and EOS 1Dx
- Dual Digic 5+ processor
- WiFi & GPS
